Agriculture and Natural Resources

Agriculture and Natural Resources programs are as diverse as is Virginia's geography.  Programs are focused on assisting landowners with profitability of agricultural and forest enterprises, while protecting land and water resources.

The Fluvanna Community Garden is  located at Pleasant Grove Park in Palmyra, VA.  The garden provides renters with a plot, access to water, and features a fence to protect the garden from most pests.  Visit the Fluvanna Parks and Recreation page for more information on renting a plot at the Fluvanna Community Garden.

The Fluvanna Master Gardeners (FMG) is a community-based group of Virginia Master Gardeners accredited and overseen by the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service (VCE). The VCE Master Gardeners is a non-profit, educational organization of VCE. Membership in FMG is available to anyone who is a VCE Master Gardener in good standing.  Learn more about the Fluvanna Master Gardeners by visiting their page.
